1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website (https://upppcbl.bank.in), downloading our mobile application, or availing services provided by Uttar Pradesh Postal Primary Co-operative Bank Limited (UPPPCBL), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions along with applicable RBI directives and the Bank's bye-laws.

2. Account Operations & KYC Compliance

  • All accounts (Savings, Fixed Deposit, Recurring Deposit, Loan accounts) are opened subject to satisfaction of Know Your Customer (KYC) norms as directed by RBI and CERSAI.
  • Account holders must provide truthful, updated, and verified documents and immediately inform the Bank of any change in residential address, mobile number, or employment details.
  • The Bank reserves the right to freeze or close accounts failing periodic KYC updation or found involved in questionable/suspicious transactions.

3. Digital & Electronic Banking Services

  • Customers must maintain strict confidentiality of Internet Banking user IDs, passwords, MPIN, and One-Time Passwords (OTP).
  • The Bank shall never ask for your password, PIN, CVV, or OTP via phone call, SMS, or email.
  • Any transaction validated through legitimate credentials or OTP generated on the customer's registered mobile number will be deemed authorized by the customer.

4. Interest Rates, Service Charges & Fees

Deposit interest rates and loan lending rates are determined by the Bank's Board of Directors in compliance with RBI directives. Service charges, penalty for premature withdrawal, minimum balance requirements, and processing fees are published on our website and branch notice boards, and are subject to revision with reasonable prior notice.

5. Cyber Safety & Scam Advisory

Customers must remain vigilant against fraudulent calls, phishing emails, and scams claiming to represent law enforcement or tax authorities ("Digital Arrest"). Our authorized outgoing communication number is 1600 120 180. All incoming queries should be directed only to our Toll Free number 1800 891 1950.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India, the Multi-State / UP Co-operative Societies Act, and the Banking Regulation Act. Any disputes arising in connection with the Bank's operations shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
